This Nike Air DT Max 96 is Questionable at Best

Did anyone ask for this Nike Air DT Max 96 colorway?

Deion Sanders’ Air DT Max 96 saw a surprise return to retailers in OG colorways a few months ago. Now, with logos on-trend, Nike has been taking its all-over logo patterns and applying them to all kinds of Air Max silhouettes. Recently, the brand quietly released a new colorway of the Air DT Max 96 and it’s…questionable.

The usually tame leather and mesh trainer has been outfitted with a neon green upper and strap, and finished off with a glitch Nike Air pattern. It’s safe to say that this is probably not a look Deion Sanders signed off on. However, if you’re feeling this colorway look for it at local footwear retailers like Champs where it has already hit shelves for $130.

In an episode of Sneaker Shopping, Deion Sanders threw Nike under the bus and said he would never work with the brand again.

  1. Or you could wait a few months and buy them at Marshals or Ross for $30.

Reminds me of Monster Energy Drink.

  2. Why though? Lol.

I feel it should have been one or the other. I think the green would have been better as the underlay where the logos are….

They kinda remind me of the Speed Turfs they did with the bright green

  3. WTF!!!!!!
DT’s are sick and this colorway just made me lose a lot more respect for Nike.

Seem’s like they’re trying to get som Virgil Abloh vibes but it’s just shit like the rest of his collabs and knock offs.
