“The return” of the AJ 1.5 marks a new (and familiar) colorway, with the Air Jordan 1.5 ‘Royal’ dropping at retailers soon.
The shoe has a ‘Fragment’ 1 vibe, which itself took inspiration from the Royal Blue Jordan 1. The shoes varies blue, black and white throughout the upper in a slightly different combination than the aforementioned AJ 1s. For one, the wings logo on the ankle area is done up in blue, with the blue toe box and black heel area being reversed in color placement from the ‘Fragment’ 1. The classic Nike Air look on the tongue remains, however.
The Jordan 1.5 essentially mixes the Jordan 1 upper with the Jordan 2 tooling, hence the moniker of being 1.5. The sole on the shoes are slightly changed, with round grips being added to the bottoms for improved traction.
The Air Jordan 1.5 high top will officially drop at Jordan Brand retailers on Saturday October 17, retailing for $150. Let us know your thoughts on this colorway in the comments below.
