The Nike Air Force Max Goes Low

The Nike Air Force Max goes low for 2019.

It was a bit of a surprise when Nike Basketball resurrected the Air Force Max line in 2018, but turning the Air Force Max into a low top? Almost shocking.

The Nike Air Force Max is constructed of fuse and lightweight ripstop material. However, the Air Force Max Low looks to switch things up a bit by using multiple textiles and fuse for its build. They’ve also relocated the midfoot strap to the forefoot — a move I actually like.

Cushion has been reduced from a full-length Air Max unit to a 180 degree Air Max unit. At this time, it’s unclear if the forefoot offers any cushion or if it’s just a Phylon midsole.

Take a look at the Nike Air Force Max Low below and let us know what you think.

  1. These are a nice looking shoe. I wish that they could have some cushion up front but for those who only need heel air, this could be a nice option.

  2. These look promising. One of my favorite shoes that I had was the old Air Force Operate. It was a similar setup, max heel, phylon forefoot, and had a strap.
If these are anything like the old Air Force Operate they will be awesome.
