The Nike Air Flight Lite was a go-to hoop shoe back in the day, and they even had a decent Retro run not too long ago, but Nike has remixed the classic in order to take it into the modern era while keeping it classic.
Raw materials are used with a redesigned upper, while the tooling on the 2015 edition remains consistent with the original. Air cushioning was used in the original Air Flight Lite, so I’m assuming it’s housed within the midsole on these as well. Traction is herringbone, which works great, and as the name suggests… they’re pretty light weight.
Two colorways are available now at JimmyJazz.com – the Red pair paying Homage to Scottie Pippen who wore the original often – with retail set at $100.
