The Jordan Why Not Zer0.2 Has Been Officially Unveiled

Jordan Brand and Russell Westbrook have officially unveiled the Jordan Why Not Zer0.2.

Releasing on January 10 in full family sizes, the upcoming Why Not Zer0.2 is one of our most anticipated basketball shoes of 2019.

The initial launch colorway of the Why Not Zer0.2 has been dubbed ‘Future History’ and sports vibrant color-blocking along the upper. The colorway pays tribute to the OKC Thunder as it’s where Westbrook has created a name and brand for himself since coming into the league. If you’re into story telling, then you’ll want to head over to Air.Jordan.com as the story elements are given a bit more shine there.

In terms of tech specs, the shoe features what we had listed in our first impression video (above). There’s a large volume forefoot Zoom Air unit, like what we saw in the Air Jordan 33, along with a decoupled tooling setup and circular traction for multi-directional coverage. Materials range from knit to mesh with Fuse skin overlays for durability in high-wear areas.

Pricing information was not included within the press release of the shoe but we’ve seen that the shoe will remain at the $130 price point.

Let us know what you think about the Jordan Why Not Zer0.2 below in the comment section and stay tuned for the performance review once we get our hands on a pair.

  1. These grab your attention like RW and his play style itself. I’m happy for the guy getting a second signature model out. Also dig the polarizing design. Looking forward to seeing more on this from you guys!

  2. This is speaks Russel Westbrook and I think it’s great for a signature shoe to directly reflect the player. And I don’t know if you can see it but this shoe kinda reminds me of the mighty morphin power rangers? specially that teeth like design

  3. Loving the design, looks aggressive and fit looks like it may be amazing. Aesthetically pleasing to me with the colors.

  4. If these had full length zoom theyd be an absolute killer. That was the best feature of the last shoe. Oh well. These seem like theyre a lot less bulky than the 1 tho.

This seems like the cushion will feel the same as the 33 since the heel zoom couldnt really be felt much on that. So if u want a 33 without the auto lace thingamajig then there u go.

  5. idk, they look so drastically different from the first ones, it’s not really a great way to establish the line. it’s especially notable because of the name. Zer0.1 Zer0.2 it’s a clear way to distinguish the line by name, so why not also do it visually? also i just don’t like these if i’m being honest.

    1. Taiwan or Korea. both are damn good ! I miss those years.

anyways, the only thing that is keeping me away from this shoe is it’s a WestBrook.

  6. They really remind of the adidas HeatCheck(if there ever would’ve been a HeatCheck2 it would’ve looked like this), which is really didn’t like, I really don’t like these either.
