The Complete Tech History of Kevin Durant Signature Sneakers

No, the Nike KD series did not start with the KD IV…

Believe it or not, there were three other signature models before the KD IV released and if you were unaware then now is your time to learn a few things. Sneaker Report has featured The Complete Tech History of Kevin Durant Signature Sneakers for everyone so be sure to head over and check it out.

Has anyone played in any of the KD signatures before the IV?

  1. Haha funny you post this. Up until about a month ago my dad was still lacing up the KD1 in the original supersonic colorway. I finally convinced him that it was time for an upgrade. I remember wanting the blue chips that came out before Durant even had a signature shoe. Kd, Brandon Roy, and D Will had colorways that came out. I bet there aren’t too many people that remember those.

  2. The kd iii was way better than the iv on my opinion. Fit traction an lockdown were great with little break in time . Much softer rubber was used on the sole . The lack of zoom in the rear is noticeable but not too big of a deal . I thought the iv felt dead and clunky ( I didn’t read your review )

  3. The III was pretty popular, but I thnk because of the strap in the IVs people forgot all about the previous one lol.

  4. Nightwing, you must try out the lebron 7 post season’s
They’re an old shoe and I’ve had them for quite some time but they are the best performers i’ve had.
Do try them and perhaps do a video on them…
Much love, keep doing what you do

  5. KD 2s are probably my favorite shoes to play in ever. Besides the lack of ventilation, the cushion set up, traction and everything on those was perfect.

  6. Never had the KD I, but I had the II and it was one of the best. IV had the worst cushion ever.

    1. V
    2. III
    3. II
    4. I
    5. IV

  7. I still play in the KD 2, they are wearing down on me, but they are great shoes for indoor and outdoor, unless you really need heel cushioning and hyperfuse-type ventilation.

  8. My son purchased the K D V’s and after a month of playing ball with them only INSIDE the material on top of the toe starting peeling off..After sending them back to nike they tell me that it was scratched by an outsided abrasion. …I have never been so disappointed in Nike…. my son is a point guard that has never played in anything but Nike, with never a problem…I see other ball players with the same problem with kdv’s….has anyone had problems also……not happy wasting my money on sneakers…….
