The initial Energy Boost release was the first to feature the popular cushioning set up. This pair differs with the ESM (Engineered Stretch Mesh) upper that like the name suggests, provides breathability and molds better to your foot. Further, the TORSION SYSTEM provides mid-foot stability and the TPU heel plate provides a better overall fit.
