The Air Jordan 33 Arrives in Red for the New Year

The Air Jordan 33 starts off the New Year right with an all-Red colorway.

The Air Jordan 33 has been divisive among the basketball community as some hoopers love the shoe while others loath the fit and its FastFit system.

For those that love the shoe, on or off-court, the Air Jordan 33 is releasing in new colorways in 2019 and this Red/Black is one of them. This particular pair has the elephant print style rear panel that I personally loved on the Blackout edition and I’m glad to see they’re placing it on more colorways. The tongue and overlay panels look to be quilted — much like the Guo Ailun PE.

This upcoming Air Jordan 33 is making its way to overseas retailers as soon as today, January 1, 2019, but US consumers may not get a chance at the pair until January 15 if the Red/Black-Silver pair listed on Foot Locker’s release calendar is the same pair shown.

Let us know your thoughts on the Air Jordan 33 below and stay tuned for updates regarding more colorways.

  1. the lacing system is still hideous though. and the materials need to be more premium, I like what they did to the tongue though. also, a bit more black on some of the panels and it would have been really really nice.
