Grasshopper22

Back in November of 2016, Hikmet Sugoer, founder of German streetwear boutique Solebox, launched his own sneaker line SONRA. Now, it’s gearing up for the release of its latest sneaker.

The brand focuses on offering a shoe that is skin-friendly and non-irritating. The Proto model is made from 100% vegetable tanned leather, some of the most environmentally and skin-friendly leather straight from Germany.

This time around, SONRA has unveiled the Proto ‘Grasshopper’ colorway. Every release comes in a unique colorway, is released in extremely limited quantities, and is handcrafted in Germany.

This Proto features a full-length green suede upper and tan leather heel counter, and it rides atop a white midsole. 3M reflective details are also used for added pop.

Retailing for €270 (approx. $317 USD), the SONRA Proto ‘Grasshopper’ will launch in-store in a full EU size run (37-47) on October 7 at 10:00BST at Hanon. It will also release online on October 15, according to Sugoer, although it is unclear where.

If you’re interested in copping a pair be quick because only 375 pairs have been made.
