adidas has really stepped up its game to another level with its recent collaboration with Sneakernstuff and Wood Wood. Now, the Three Stripes is hitting us with another twist of collaboration, and that’s directly with retailer solebox. Let’s have a look-see.
Being that it’s the third Consortium Tour, the solebox x Adidas Consortium Ultra Boost Uncaged improved on an already excellent model with Primeknit, premium suede, and according to solebox, “a color range inspired by the home district’s coat of arms.” The removal of the plastic midfoot cage makes this UltraBoost “uncaged.” Designed by Hikmet Sugoer of solebox — who said that the adidas consortium release were limited to only a few thousand pairs — this Ultra Boost has a light-grey wool upper and your typical white Boost sole with a contrasting red outsole and, of course, the solebox debossing along the heel stabilizer and the tongue label.
This gem is slated to be released on March 12 on solebox with a price tag of $200. That could be subject to change, as I saw a different date, March 26, as the listed release date. We will look for more concrete information as the release date approaches. Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.
Wouldn’t say no to these – really nice colorway
These look really good
I love the Ultra Boost and I love suede, but $200 makes me think twice…then I think a 3rd time and decide that they are indeed a must cop
Are they for running or just everyday use/walking?
