Now that Kanye West has helped Under Armour’s chunky shoe, the Forge 96, pop on socials, the shoe’s resale price on StockX has jumped. Luckily, a few sizes of the shoe are still available for retail.
In late-September, the Baltimore-based brand dropped four colorways of the Forge 96 (one was a European exclusive) and nearly all of the pairs instantly sold out. However, you may still be able to grab your size of the white/yellow/blue colorway at UnderArmour.com for $120.
(Fit note: go with your true size, the shoe is wide-footer friendly — I went up half a size and the shoe is just a bit too roomy.)
The UA Forge 96 features a ’90s-inspired design that uses contemporary materials like premium leathers, soft suedes, and panels of technical mesh highlighted with a reflective framework. The shoe rides atop an EVA foam midsole with an EVA sockliner and molded TPU heel stabilizer for modern comfort. You can learn more by checking out Nightwing2303’s video below.
Suede is coming to the Under Armour Forge 96 so stay tuned for updates about that.
