AND1 has a brand new model that will launch in 2018 dubbed the Attack Mid and this special edition version can be seen on the feet of Sean Kilpatrick for the MLK Day game against the Washington Wizards.
The AND1 brand has an exciting year ahead of it and while we can’t divulge all of what the brand has planned just yet, fans of the street ball-centric footwear brand will be happy with what is to come.
The brand has new model featuring brand new tech: the AND1 Attack Mid. It, as well as a low version, will be headed to retail in 2018 for a retail price of just $100. The version pictured here will be seen on the feet of Sean Kilpatrick on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, as well as throughout the month of February (Black History Month).
This Attack Mid build pays homage to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with special graphics and gum bottoms. Quotes taken from his historic “I Have a Dream” speech during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963, emblazon the heels of the shoe.
As for the shoe and its tech specs, it features a synthetic build from the midfoot to the forefoot while the rear heel section is a textile. The outsole utilizes a Chevron herringbone pattern along with a thick wave pattern that looks like it’d be a beastly performer indoors or outdoors.
