Reebok Shroud OG Retro Release Date

reebok-shroud-og-2The Reebok Shroud OG is finally back in Black/White/Royal! Famously worn by Shawn Kemp, this classic Reebok model will launch globally on January 30, 2015, starting the new year right for Reebok. The retro version seems pretty 1-to-1 with the original; you can check out the original below in an Eastbay catalogue. While Payton’s sig, the Nike “Glove,” had issues with the zipper breaking, these were sturdy as hell back in the day. Let’s hope the retro is as well.

The Reebok Shroud OG originally featured a 3D UltraLite cushioning but there is no word on what the retro will feature. The vintage branding on the tongue is a great accent. The shoe is simple and classic and a model Reebok fans have been asking for. Reebok continually brings back models their fans want. Whether they sell well at retail is different, but they have kept their fans over the years.

  1. Never really saw this ones in person but I remember this ones being feature on a lil promo magazine for reebok where the answer 1s were feature as well! good memories!!

  2. Hopefully they ditch the 3d ultralite outsole, It wore down far too quickly and was crazy dangerous on the court, was like playing ball on a skate rink

  3. just bought a pair today, boy the cushion was almost better than boost, i was shocked how comfy the sole felt. def hoping you would performance test these!
