Exclusive: This Reebok Question Sample Honors All the Teams Allen Iverson Played For

Former Reebok designer Jeremy Sallee took to Instagram to unveil a truly unique Question Mid sample. The shoe never went into production, but we caught up with Sallee to learn more about it.

Now Design Director at Ralph Lauren, Jeremy Sallee spent over seven years designing at Reebok; some of his designs include the DMX Alpha, DMX Beta (a shoe that caught the eye of Eminem), DMX Fusion, and ZPump Rise.

The Reebok Question sample pictured here honors the teams Allen Iverson played for during his 15-year career. Thus, the shoe features nods to the Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, Denver Nuggets, and Memphis Grizzlies.

“The goal was to celebrate all of the teams he played for in a compelling way,” Jeremy Sallee told WearTesters. “To tell you the truth, it’s kind of symbolic of his life/career.”

With gold aglets, beautiful tumbled and patent leathers, and an inner lining done in perforated jersey material, this shoe is doing the most. “All of these expressive bits and piece come together to make something bold and unapologetic,” said Sallee. This Question even uses screen printing and water dip techniques to accentuate the midsole, but sadly, the end result was too expensive to produce.

You’ll never be able to buy this Reebok Question Mid, but you can admire it in the photos below. Would you have picked up this shoe if it released? Let us know in the comments.
