Earlier this week we reported that Reebok was collaborating with Boot Campaign for Veteran’s Day. Now, in honor of the national holiday, Reebok is working with SGT Matthew Melancon, who was wounded in Afghanistan, losing the bottom half of both of his legs. SGT Melancon appeared in a recent ad campaign with the brand and J.J., and can be seen wearing the JJ I Military Edition at the bottom of his prosthetics.
The video below details how SGT Melancon is inspired by J.J.’s message of Hunt Greatness as he trains to represent the USA in the Boardercross event at the 2018 Paralympic Games in PyeongChang. His story aims to educate and inspire, all while fighting to change the way service men and women are depicted in the media.
The Reebok JJ I ‘Military Edition’ is available now in sizes 7 to 13 for $100 with free shipping. To pick up your pair, click here.
WearTesters should have a performance review of the JJ I in the weeks to come.
