Reebok Answer 3 – 2015

It looks as if the Reebok Answer 3 is set to make a return in 2015, somehow before the Answer 2 gets the Retro treatment.

While part of me wants to rejoice, the Answer 1-4 are my favorite Iverson models other than the Question, the realistic part of me knows that these will only be shells of what they used to be. There will be DMX Foam instead of 3D Ultralite and there will likely be no actual air transfer DMX like the originals. So, while these are still beautiful in my eyes… they aren’t the real deal. That 3D Ultralite traction was awful too, so no way I’d hoop in them.

Maybe once they hit clearance I’ll grab the White/ Red pair… same if they drop the White/ Black pair, but I won’t be anticipating them the way I had the Answer 1 and IV since those both were major disappointments.

According to Sole Collector, these should be releasing around Summer 2015.Reebok Answer 3 - 2015 1 Reebok Answer 3 - 2015 2 Reebok Answer 3 - 2015 3 Reebok Answer 3 - 2015 4 Reebok Answer 3 - 2015 5 Reebok Answer 3 - 2015 6 Reebok Answer 3 - 2015 7 Reebok Answer 3 - 2015 8 Reebok Answer 3 - 2015 9 Reebok Answer 3 - 2015 10 Reebok Answer 3 - 2015 11 Reebok Answer 3 - 2015 12

    1. What’s the difference between the original DMX and the crap they’re using now? I never got to see or play in the original DMX.

  1. I’m just honestly happy that Iverson is still with Reebok. It usually means you get a better looking shoe that’s closer to the original in looks with their actual logo as opposed to all of the other shoes that are changed up design and tooling wise because the athlete is no longer affiliated ( I’m looking directly at you, adidas crazy line and Fila ninety line). Too bad Reebok found a way to disappoint anyway and stripped the guts of all the good old tech.

  2. i really really loved these back in the day. it was actually our team shoe for my high school at one point. the comfort on these(originaly) was unreal because of that foam outsole. but they got a lil slippery from time to time. smooth looking sneaker! where the 2s at tho. they really need to stop fucking around and start using real DMX again. that is the entire shoe in my opinion. step your game up swizzy. shit

  3. Reebok cash grab. Without the tech these are no better than Payless or Walmart knockoffs. Reebok is a joke these days. Its sad because there was a time when they actually knew how to make shoes. Reebok needs to understand that beauty on the inside is just as important as external beauty. They must all be married to Supermodels who constantly throw puppies off of bridges.

  4. If Reebok could keep investing in the DMX technology and keep polishing it for the last 20 years like what Nike did with Zoom, then maybe Reebok would still be a relevant brand.

  5. These had so so heel lock down too. Although not as dismal as the 5.
My god the 5 had horrid traction and lacing and felt heavy on foot as well.
I’d get the 3 to chill in with proper dmx.
Reebok has done pumps and kemps and rails all quite nicely but they refuse to give us the 1 good cushioning technology the company ever had. And I mean ever

  6. Had 2x pairs of these, the fit was okay. Traction was absolutely terrible, even on a clean gym. I was still young back then and AI was my favourite player so naturally I had to cop em.

I remember seeing the white/red on AI in one of Will Smiths video… Damn lol

  7. what the hell is wrong with REEBOK?…
sole collector reported the answer iii coming out most likely in summer 2015.
it is now 2016 and nothing …. and nobody at Reebok has any info …this company just cannot seem to get their sh t together…

  8. The only thing I hated was the inside was leather and ur sock would slide around inside the shoe. Rubber soles were ok even on clean courts. I had the white and blue . I’ve had almost every shoe AI put out
