Ray Allen’s book From the Outside: My Journey Through Life and the Game I Love has just hit the New York Times Best Sellers list. To celebrate, one of the greatest shooters of all time showed off never-before-seen Air Jordan PEs.
Ray Allen donned the green and gold with the Celtics from 2007 to 2012. Who could forget that in 2008 he tied an NBA Finals record with seven three-pointers in the Celtics’ 131-91 victory over the Lakers?
And when Allen eventually went to the Heat in 2012 he got some of the best Air Jordan PEs ever made — like the red and gold Air Jordan 11 pictured here. In 2013, it was Allen who made the game-tying 3-pointer that forced overtime in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The Heat went on to win that game and ultimately triumphed in Game 7 with a devastating 95-88 win over the Spurs. There is no doubt that Allen has earned his PEs.
