Following the success of the brand’s Thunder Spectra model, Puma is seeking to capitalize the momentum with yet another chunky dad shoe sneaker: the Thunder Electric.
The upcoming Puma Thunder Electric will release in two different colorways that pay homage to the ’90s Cell System running sneakers as well as a Puma x McQueen collaboration. The shoes feature glossy pink and blue color schemes, respectively, and opt for muted and subtle looks. The Thunder Electric is the brand’s second model to embrace the dad shoe trend and solidifies Puma’s commitment to go all out on the chunky styled sneakers.
Set to release on June 28, the sneakers will be women’s exclusives with a price tag of approximately $150, according to Highsnobiety. The shoe will be available on puma.com and at select Puma accounts.
Moreover, two new Puma Thunder Electric colorways are releasing in men’s sizing at Eastbay.com on June 21 for $120 each.
