Porsche Design Sport Has Created an adidas UltraBoost Trainer

Porsche Design Sport adidas ultra Boost Trainer 4

Porsche Design, owned by Porsche SE, a German holding company with investments in the automotive industry, has created an UltraBoost with a unique aesthetic.

Known for pimping smartphones like the Huawei Mate 9 (a $1500 smartphone, more on that here) has actually come up with two UltraBoosts; one features a beige/gold Primeknit upper, the other is dark navy. Both are dressed up with premium leather elements that replace the usual UB cage run and all the way to the toe. The tongues flaunt Porsche Design Sport branding in gold and gold branding at the heel counters.

There is no word yet on whether these UltraBoosts sit atop Continental outsoles (for the price they better) but it looks like overseas boutique Hanon has these in stock now. As with all Porsche Design products, these UBs sport an elevated price tag of £209 ($260 USD). If you’re feeling spendy, you can pick these up here. There is no word yet on whether these limited UltraBoosts are coming Stateside.

  1. They have some pretty cool concept runners but are tooooooo pricey even on sale. Some are just energy boost tooling with diff uppers.

      1. I believe both of you haven’t heard of Porsche Design yet but I must say that they’ve been there for a long time selling some mid-range shoes for midrange prices. midrange considering they are not selling them at a highend price. the tooling for most of their design are amazing and you could really see the quality especially the ones with the tech and with premium leather and carbon fiber on them. the word “premium” is really premium. but again, these are the type of shoes for people that are willing to pay for that price. it’s not the worse since we aren’t even talking about bally’s and gucci’s yet. so they are cheap end of high end so to speak.

        1. Ji collins. I have heard of the older shoes they used to sell. I actualy have 1 during college. Bought them on sale and super cheap. These new ones are too pricey but they do feel like desinger brands really good material. Unlike the no purpose designer shoes, These actually feel like sports equipment.

          1. you got it Conrad. they are indeed designer brands and materials from what I experienced is really great and not cheap. they are better value compared to other designer brands which cost twice and even much more than what they are offering. although I must say that the White Boost for me doesn’t work out aesthetically for Porsche Design. I would have preferred a black version or any color of the cushion or layered it to make it much more appealing to the eyes.

  2. Sweet Trainers. Finally some luxury brand delivering good tech in lifestyle models. Gucci, Balenciaga ( mispelled?), Prafa, delivering 300dols+ sneakers with vulcanized cupsoles. It’s not for my pocket but I
    Think it surely has customers

    1. they’ve been there for a while now like some years. sneaker community in general are just not aware of them due to most are focused on sports performance than casual/formal midrange/highend wear. also the price is a bit of a stretch due to the brand that comes with it. although considering the price of basketball sneakers and retros nowadays especially JB/NIKE brand and downgrading, it’s not that bad of an investment to go for these shoes compared to a dumb-down cheap and butchered version of the retros and Nike (Kyrie’s and Kobe’s) nowadays.

  3. I won’t complain about the price because that’s just their norm. As far as considering them, maybe if they fell to $200 I’d bite. It looks really good, even if the overlay may kill the sensation a bit.

    1. you could get them cheaper on some retailers when they go on sale. you just have to scour for them over the internet. you can visit the porsche design sport website if you want to get an idea on what they have. again, the price can be a bit on the Jordan Retro/ Lebron Signature end. but then again, Lebrons are horrendous. lol.
