Air Max Day 2018 is looking very lit.
Inspired by hats from the ’80s, Wotherspoon wanted to utilize bold colors and quality textures to achieve a vintage look. With that, he was able to use his keen understanding of product and materials to create his very own Air Max 97/1 hybrid sneaker.
However, it looks like Wotherspoon and the Swoosh also have apparel pieces in the works. Recently, Wotherspoon posted a picture of what looks to be a vintage-style corduroy hat and a Swoosh logo tee. Both pieces feature the same colors as the Air Max sneakers, in addition to the over-branding element.
Keep an eye out for more updates on the collection as we get closer to the release day in March.

When @nikesportswear says you have full creative control, but you still just want a plain shirt! Of course I had to hit it with the puffy print swoosh logos, heavier cotton, and multiple wash cycles! SAMPLE TAGS still attached! I can’t wait to see everyone putting the 🔥 fits together in March! ✌🏼🌊 @nike @nikelosangeles
