A couple days ago we showed you all pictures of a Curry One Lux. It seems that almost all the WearTesters commenters hated this shoe, but I really don’t mind it.
The Under Armour Curry One Lux ‘Red Suede’ is a bit too Red October for my taste (I thought sneaker brands would abandon this ridiculous colorway in 2015 but apparently not) but the material quality doesn’t look bad. For a brand that uses very few leathers and suedes, these Curry One Lux versions could be part of Under Armour Sportwear’s new fashion-forward lineup.
About a month ago UA announced the unveiling of its sportswear division, Under Armour Sportswear, that would be creating “fashion-driven performance sportswear” that was “not activewear,” “not athleisure,” and not for the gym. UA employed up-and-coming Belgian fashion designer Tim Coppens as the Executive Creative Director. Coppens’ namesake collection is not cheap. If it’s the case that these Lux Currys will debut with UA’s new division the price tag could be premium.
Of course, this is only speculation — there is currently no official word on the Curry One Lux regarding price or possible release. Enjoy the new photos of the Under Armour Curry One Lux and let us know how you feel about them now.
