The KD3 has a superior all around fit. It has suited my needs as far as fitting my foot perfectly, and even has an adjustable strap on the inside of the shoe just in case you’d like a little more mid-foot support.
At first glance I thought the heel collar would have dug into my Achilles due to the shape and materials used… material in this colorway are a heavy duty nylon type of material which I personally dislike when featured in the sock-liner. This was not the case and I didn’t even notice any issues in the collar fit, however, I would recommend wearing quarter cut socks just in case since everyone’s foot it different.
Materials are all synthetic. This is good and bad. The good is that they hardly look like they’ve been played in… probably the only performance shoe I have at the moment that still looks great after playing in them. The bad is that they’re very stiff, break-in time will be something to think about. I wear my shoes around the house before I play in them, unless they are outdoor shoes then I will walk around casually to break them in.
The KD3 video review will be posted very soon so stay tuned!
