Performance Teaser: Air Jordan X (10) Retro Pt. 2

I’ve always liked the Air Jordan X aesthetically but I never would have thought something so simple would work so well on-court… less is truly more in most cases.

The entire fit of the Air Jordan X is top notch. So simple and elegant yet more effective than most of the newer stuff we see today. This lacing system is basic but it’s been proven to work, it keeps the midfoot down and in place while drawing the heel into the rear of the shoe.

Those little bungee bands really add to the already awesome fit. They are what holds everything together so nicely and without them the upper wouldn’t be able to retain its shape the way that it has when on-court.

I have a new found respect for the Air Jordan X. Like I said above, I’ve always liked them visually but when something is functional then you enjoy it even more. The Air Jordan X has quickly become my favorite model to wear on-court… as I get further into the series, it’s becoming harder to choose an all-time favorite.

  1. In the last paragraph, you said these have become your favorite model to wear on court. Do you mean overall or just the AJ series?

  2. Wow would be funny if this turned out to be a better performer then the spacejams. And you right looks wise the X might be 2nd best of the AJs 2nd only to XIII

  3. Honestly i was never a fan of the looks of the jordan ten but i was actually thinking of getting myself a pair for school basketball

  4. It’s also a great performance teaser for Jordan 11 regarding Midfoot lockdown! Great Job! Let me just hope that the Jordan 11’s and 13’s are still better

  5. The only reason I typed my comment on this page is because its your most recent post. I’ve got a big problem I have a pair of size 6.5 Kobe 7 “Home” concord white and black and mostly in the right shoe in the forefoot area it squeaks but when I wear them for a long period of time it goes away. What I do know is that the insole is either rubbing a against the shoe itself or because i am a kids size and the forefoot is broken up into 3 parts they are rubbing against themselves. Any advice on how to fix it because my parents won’t let me buy another and its super ongoing
    someone please help.

    1. After removing the insole pour in a generous amount of baby powder and shake it around in there making the baby powder cover the entire bottom of the shoe. insert the insoles and enjoy!

  6. Wow, 5 Lebron shoes (including HD 2012 since he endorses it) are in the Top 10 and 4 are in the Top. Nike is really stepping up their performance for his Sig shoes.
