WearTesters first reported on the existence of an Air Jordan 5 Satin in Black/University Red last month. Now, we’ve got an official look at the upcoming sneaker.
The Air Jordan 1 Satin ‘Shattered Backboard’ saw a very successful launch and that may have convinced Jordan Brand to put the luxe material on another classic silhouette. This time, it’s the Air Jordan 5 Satin — and it will just as reflective as its original build.
This Cyber Monday shoe will feature a slightly different University Red hue than what was used on past 5s. The rest is usual fare for the Air Jordan 5 — reflective tongues, clear netting at the side panels and tongue, and speckling at the midsoles. Expect the usual heel and forefoot Air units for cushioning.
The Air Jordan 5 ‘Black/University Red’ is still rumored to release on November 26 (Cyber Monday) for $190, according to leakers @pinoe77 and @zsneakerheadz.
