The Air VaporMax seems to have been Nike’s flavor of choice this year, and even though we’re approaching the new year, it’s showing no signs of regression. Nike will introduce its newest take on the model, the Air VaporMax Chukka Slip, very soon.
The model has a sneakerboot look about it, with its high collar and tonal colors. It features a one-piece construction, like that of the VaporMax Moc. The neoprene shroud flaunts a huge reflective Swoosh and covers a majority of the upper, with the exception of the toebox and heel.
There are also numerous fuse overlays along the upper — near the toe, specifically. It appears to be made of a knit material, but I can’t say for sure — let us know what you think in the comments. There are also 3M hits on the pull tab on the back of the sneaker.
The model will debut in two colorways, one black with gray tones and the other white with red tones. There is no pricing or release info available at this time, so stay tuned to WearTesters for more on the upcoming sneaker.
