An Official Look at the adidas D Lillard 2.0 in Medium Grey

The adidas D Lillard 2.0 is coming back in another great color option mid month.

We’ve previewed these before, and they’re scheduled to hit retailers on April 15th with a retail price of $115. While these feature Boost cushion in the heel, the tooling setup is identical to the CrazyLight Boost 2015 – we prefer the Lillard 2’s original tooling from a performance aspect. So if you enjoyed the CL Boost 2015’s setup then you’ll likely enjoy these.

  1. In what way is the tooling the same? What is different about these compared to the originals?

    1. Basically it’s the D Lillard 2 upper with the midsole and outsole of the CL Boost 2015.

The original Lillard 2 had Bounce cushioning in the heel rather than Boost and had a different traction pattern (which I find nicer than the CL Boost traction)

Shame though, I would’ve liked this colorway if not for the CL Boost tooling

  2. adidas why you play me like this heel Boost only instead of full Bounce. Your last 3-4 CWS for the Bounce setup yuck and when u release a nice CW like this or the All White you give me only heel. Home?

  3. I love the shoe, love the Bounce, love the materials but hate the traction. It sucks up every piece of dirt on the floor. I need a nice NBA floor to play on.
