An Official Look at the adidas Crazy BYW LVL I for Off-Court Use

adidas CRAZY BYW LVL I 1

With a trefoil logo on its tongue and zero caged Boost to speak of, this adidas Crazy BYW LVL I is an Originals release for off-court use.

Upon closer inspection, we can see that this build of the adidas Crazy BYW (Boost You Wear) does not resemble the pairs Brandon Ingram and Nick Young debuted earlier this week. The Boost up front isn’t caged, and there isn’t quite enough support on this pair for on-court use.

The knit upper uses a lacing system similar to what we saw used on the Dame 4, as well as an elastic band at the base of the “tongue.”

However, with official images surfacing the shoe should be hitting adidas.com very soon. There is no word yet on what this new-old sneaker will cost, but it features Boost so…

Let us know if you’re excited for the new Boost You Wear direction adidas is taking. And if you’re ready to cop the adidas Crazy BYW LVL I right now, tell us why.

  1. At the top of the post I was wondering why you’d do a Casual, and Performance version this close to each other, but watching the pics, I know, these aren’t just casual, they’re really CASUAL 😎

        1. Btw, are you active on Instagram or anything where I can contact you? Haven’t been able to reach you since solecollector.

  2. these are actually super sick….but i dunno, after the 93/17 i don’t really wanna walk around in a shoe with this much boost in it anymore

      1. oh yeah, FYW was an incredible technology, i’ve worn and played in the eqt elevation, top ten 2000, real deal, crazy 8, i would still wear them to this day if i still had them around, you don’t get better responsiveness anywhere
the thing about fyw is that you can’t have anything between your foot and the floor, though, that’s what gives it such a natural, free-flowing feeling, and also why a lot of people don’t like it, because it was the first line of sneakers to totally eschew cushion for quickness…..so i don’t see how a thick layer of boost is going to help anybody in this case

  3. I’m feeling these. Definitely not performing in them tho.

Also, they actually did make a removable boost sole –
