After some initial hype about the sneaker on social media, Nike has officially unveiled the Nike SB x Jordan 1 Low ‘Dark Powder Blue’.
Keeping up with the Air Jordan 1 Low theme, Nike is continuing the trend with the solid addition of the UNC colorway of the sneaker. Perfect for the summer, the silhouette sports a leather upper with Jordan Brand’s classic Air Jordan logo on the heel while paying homage to the Nike SB roots on the insole section of the shoe.
Designed by skater Eric Koston, this SB x Air Jordan I Low takes inspiration from the shoes he recalls sitting on the rack, with the lids cut off the box, that his mom wouldn’t buy for him because “the shoes he had were fine”. Koston’s signature is featured on the inside tongue label and “$24.99” on the underside, the price for that pair on the rack back in ‘86.
The sneaker is set to drop on August 2 with a price tag of $110.
