The “Not Primeknit” Version of the adidas Crazy Explosive Andrew Wiggins PE

crazy explosive wiggins 4

WearTesters first showed you the Primeknit version of the Crazy Explosive made for Andrew Wiggins here back in April and some additional Primeknit and non-Primeknit versions just last month. Having already weartested the shoes (the review is here), performance is a no-brainer. You may not dig the looks, but there is no denying the shoe makes you look twice.

Now we see images of the non-Primeknit ‘Home’ version made for Wiggins. With the same Geofit bootie but a neoprene/mesh upper, the marbled coloring brings an added dimension to the already futuristic appearance. Featuring full-length Boost, the serious infinity shank in the midsole, and the same coral traction pattern, the shoe is built for ball and taking no prisoners.

No word on if we the people will get the Wiggins PE at retail (we should!!! C’mon, adidas!!!) but if they do make an appearance, WearTesters will update  youand provide release info. Until then, you can purchase normal Team colorways at thegraphicedge.com and Eastbay.

    1. i’m waiting for an on-court opinion of the neoprene upper as well. might have to wait a while for nightwing or other weartesters to try them on first.

  1. These are gorgeous, the uppers has that CrazyQuick1 feel(which was incredibly comfortable, but also heavy-guy friendly), and the Boost has a footprint(probably closest thing to 5-pod PureMotion I.E. Paradise).

  2. Hi nightwing, would you be able to comment if the outsole is made of pliable or solid rubber? Just want to know if it can last the distance on outdoor courts

  3. Hy Bryan,

Just one question about the salers you noted in the end of your article.

Is thegraphicedge.com a reliable website? Are the shoes authentics and not fake?

    Thank you.
