As the Nike Zoom Rize begins to arrive at retailers, we take a detailed look at what the Nike Basketball’s latest team model has to offer.
Zoom Air is the primary feature as the forefoot boasts a ton of the popular cushion.
At 10mm thick and taking over the majority of the forefoot, flexibility is sacrificed for more cushion — insert Tim Allen grunt here. It’s midsole foam compound is unknown at the moment, but it’s almost as springy as the Zoom Air itself. Traction looks and feels like it’ll hold up well both indoors and outdoors while the materials leave a bit to be desired for the $140 retail price.
Stay tuned for a performance review in the coming weeks and if you were interested in checking out the Nike Zoom Rize we grabbed our pair from Dicks Sporting Goods.
