This world is not short on documentaries about Nike, one of the most profitable companies in the last 50 years. However, Nike and Sneaker Freaker have come together to drop the “Genealogy of Innovation” book. It tells the entire history of the swoosh brand since it’s genesis in 1971. The book is 240 pages that delves into 200 Nike shoes that “changed the game,” from shoes to soccer cleats, etc. Of course, the book features exclusive interviews with the likes of Tinker Hatfield, Martin Lotti, Denis Dekovic, and other Nike designers. Strangely, this project has been limited to only ten copies. All that work for ten copies of the Nike x Sneaker Freaker “Genealogy of Innovation” seems…odd.
For those that do want this book, money isn’t a factor. The only way to get your hands on a copy of the Nike x Sneaker Freaker “Genealogy of Innovation” book is by signing up at Sneaker Freaker here and entering to win. They have all ten copies to give away. In the meantime, check out the preview images of this book below and let us know what you think about it in the comments below. Via Sneaker Freaker.
