Nike Sportswear has unveiled its latest Tech Pack collection for FA18 with super stars like Odell Beckham Jr. and Nigel Sylvester.
According to Nike, the new collection creates clothing from body-informed and environmental data. The “focused and functional” garments use modern knit and women materials as base, mid, and outer layers that should offer wearers full range of motion.
“The product is engineered to the body through innovative and expressive materials that allow for stretch and breathability,” said Senior Design Director Ricky Hendry in a statement.
Pieces like the Tech Pack Woven Track Jacket and Pants bond durable fabric to a soft knit lining for wind protection and a plush feel. Meanwhile, a garment like the Tech Pack Women’s Crew — which features strategic cutouts at the elbows — is designed to move with the body.
“We wanted to redefine Tech Pack as more of a head-to-toe collection, introducing new styles and materials, allowing for a new and more expressive connection to sport,” explained Hendry in a statement.
While no pricing information has been announced, the Nike Tech Pack will be available in North America and Greater China on August 1. The collection will launch globally on August 16.
