With the Playoffs now in session, we’ve seen LeBron James rock plenty of different PEs over the course of the NBA season. Inspired by the recent visit over in the Philippines, Nike and LeBron are celebrating the passion and fearlessness of Pinoy ball players. The Nike LeBron 14 ‘Agimat’ exemplifies itself on and off the court with a charm that offers good fortune and protection.
The shoe features an all blue upper down to the midsole and outsole. Notable details include graphics inspired by traditional woven fabrics in the Philippines — giving the shoe a unique flavor — while additional symbols acknowledge where it all started for King James with “Just a kid from Akron” on the inner tongue.
Another feature to pay close attention to is the symbols that are implemented onto the front of the tongue, each symbolizing in respect towards the Philippines and LeBron’s achievements.
The shoe is set to release overseas on May 20 with the U.S. release is set for a later date.
What do you think of the ‘Agimat’ LeBron 14? Do you like the details paying respect to the Philippines?
