Breast Cancer Awareness Month, October, is almost upon us and that means we’ll be seeing ‘Kay Yow’ builds of popular Nike sneakers.
A shoe that sees the pink ‘Kay Yow’ colorway almost every year is the LeBron Soldier. After the very pink LeBron Soldier 10 ‘Kay Yow’ launched last year, Nike has toned down the look with a predominantly white Soldier 11. It sits atop a pink translucent outsole with huge LBJ logos.
There is no official word yet as to whether any of the proceeds gathered by Nike for this shoe will be donated. Moreover, there is no official release date yet, although FastPass is reporting that the shoe launches in China on September 1. We should see the shoe release by mid-September, so keep your eyes open.
