One of Kobe Bryant’s recent nicknames gets it’s own storied sneaker with the Nike Kobe X ‘Vino’.
One of Kobe’s first tweets mentioned an unnamed friend giving him the nickname ‘Vino’ because like the grape wine, Kobe was getting better with age. At the time, Kobe was having a career year in terms of efficiency and even though he’s had injuries since, the nickname has still stuck. The green n the upper of the shoe is meant to mimic the color of the grape used to make white wine.
The Nike Kobe X ‘Vino’ can be purchased at 10am on March 7th for $180 (men’s) and $135 (grade school) at the retailers below:
