The Nike KD Trey 5 IV is Available Now
With the release of the Nike KD9 it was only a matter of time before the latest team model, the Nike KD Trey 5 IV, becomes available. In early May we gave you a first look at this shoe, and a week ago we found some upcoming colorways. Now, the shoe is on retail shelves.
The Nike KD Trey 5 IV utilizes similar properties of its predecessors by implimenting a heavy Phylon midsole with forefoot Zoom Air unit and a mesh upper. Also visible are lace wings for the upper, near the collar, that should give the player a better lockdown fit. There is only minimal change with the removal of the strap from the previous KD Trey 5 III. However, minimizing weight may be what gives the KD Trey 5 IV a light feel when on-foot. This particular model has the same traction as the KD Trey 5 III so would be great for not only indoors but also outdoors.
