Nike Running has raised the roof for its latest installment of React footwear with the Nike Rise React Flyknit.
It’s unclear if Nike intends for the Rise React Flyknit to be a lifestyle shoe or a hightop performance runner because the details are vague. However, the Swoosh has stated that the shoe combines the best qualities of the original Nike Epic React Flyknit with the Flyknit build atop a React cushioning midsole.
Laces are nowhere to be found which is on-trend for much of today’s footwear. The general consensus seems to be split with what look is most popular at the moment — some lean towards the lightweight, minimal, sock-like footwear while others prefer a bit more chunk like the current “dad shoe” wave.
At WearTesters we don’t care too much about which is better or worse as we prefer that everyone buy what they like. So, if you like the lightweight minimalistic styled shoes that still offer great cushion then the Nike Rise React Flyknit should suit your needs.
If you like what you see, the Nike Rise React Flyknit releases September 1 on Nike.com and at select Nike retailers. As usual, retail price was excluded from Nike’s announcement of the shoe.
