When the world stops spinning on its axis, people all over the world grab their Nike Epic React Flyknit shoes and start running to try and jump start the Earth.
The two minute “Choose Go” ad features all kinds of celebrities and Nike athletes including Bill Nye, Kevin Hart, Odell Beckham Jr., Kobe Bryant, Simone Biles, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Ge Manqi.
According to Nike, shooting this short film was pretty chaotic; it required elite athletes and actors that can barely appear in public without being mobbed, and hundreds of extras. Bill Nye delayed filming more than once to double check calculations regarding the momentum the average person would need to contribute to actually get the Earth moving. Manqi, an incredible sprinter, actually outran the drone filming her several times.
With the new “‘Choose Go” ad Nike is promoting the new Epic React Flyknit and launching seven new audio-guided runs from the voices of Bill Nye, Simone Biles, the Greek Freak, Kevin Hart, Colleen Quigley, Evan Jager, and Mo Farah; they teamed up with Nike’s coaches to provide guidance, motivation, and inspiration to help runners improve.
The audio-guided runs will be available on the Nike Run Club app beginning March 2. According to the brand, Nike will also host physical and digital runs in cities including Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, and Buenos Aires on April 22.
