Nike Elite Series 2.0+ Unveiled

Last year, the LeBron IX PS Elite took the crown as the most improved performance sneaker between the regular season and post season and this year… the KD V Elite looks to steal that spot.

Not many changes have been made between the LeBron X & Kobe 8 from their original counter parts but trimming down the collar, adding Flywire, Carbon Fiber and replacing heel Max Air with Caged Zoom is pretty impressive.

Take a look at the tech information along with release information after the jump and let me know if you’ll be looking for gold this Post Season.

  1. I wonder what the price is? I bought the Kobe elites last year and those were more heavier than the non elite editions. Plus I could feel the imprint of zoom bag underneath the insole making it uncomfortable to hoop in. On top of that they put really cheap gold paint which came off the first game i played. poor quality for $200. Kobe stopped hooping in the elites last year and switched back to the regulars in the playoffs.

    1. I would think that the kobe’s are gonna be $200 once again, the lebron’s I’ve heard are gonna be either $260 or $280, and I would think the KD’s would be about $150 or $160

  2. Why is Nike wasting their time making these kobe elites if flywire is the only addtion in the quality. they need to step it up a little cause a small difference in materials is not worth a price increase to the regular verions.

  3. I can’t decide between the Lebrons and the KDs. The KDs got a performance change with the heel zoom while the Lebrons just got carbon fiber..

Are you going to do full performance reviews on the elite series? .. Even though you did a review for the original series.
