A classic rap album inspired skateboard sneaker releases with a shorter collar, the link to the Nike Dunk Low SB ‘De La Soul’ is available now at Nike Store.
De La Soul previously collaborated with Nike on the exact colorway seen below on the Dunk High SB in 2005. All the De La Soul sneakers take inspiration from the group’s 3 Feet High and Rising album cover. That cover was designed as as a counter to what De La Soul called an overly macho hip-hop persona at the time. The cartoon flowers and loud, florescent colors essentially is the exact opposite of the overly masculine genre culture.
