Nike Basketball has officially unveiled its 2016 NBA All-Star Collection and they feature stars that we’ve been used to seeing, along with a few unexpected guests.
We already knew Kobe, LeBron, and KD would be in the lineup, but seeing some of Nike’s lower tier performance models comes as a nice surprise. They won’t be as affordable as their normal non-special edition counterparts, but they’ll still be priced way under what the LeBron will be listed at.
It’s nice to finally see some variety within the line. With up and coming stars like Anthony Davis and Paul George, you can bet that we’ll be seeing more variety in the years to come.

NIKE CELEBRATES SPORT ROYALTY IN TORONTO
Kobe Bryant, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Paul George and LeBron James have officially set their sights on Toronto and the All-Star game. Representing the East and West, respectively, each will showcase pinnacle performance shoes inspired by the city’s royal origins. Decorative badges commemorate individual player achievements while metal, leather and embroidery further embellish the limited-edition footwear.
KOBE 11 ELITE
A sleek black upper with a glowing green pop is a nod to the luminescence of the Northern Lights. Unique molded leather detailing on the heel and tongue gives the KOBE 11 new dimensionality.
NIKE AIR AUDACITY
The Air Audacity brings the power of “The Brow” to the court, complete with a heathered textile upper and an embroidered crest detail on the tongue.
KD8
Modern blocking, inspired by the classic look of flags spotted throughout Toronto that represent the city’s internationalism, brings a fresh graphic twist to the KD8’s Flyweave upper. Removable patches adorn the heel and tongue, and a white and light blue marble graphic, which references Toronto’s icy winter weather, decorates the outsole.
NIKE HYPERLIVE
Paul George will make his fourth All-Star appearance in this special Hyperlive player-edition shoe, with a bold Canadian-red upper, maple-inspired gum outsole and leaf basketball logo. The shoe is recognized for its low-profile silhouette and lockdown support.
LEBRON 13
The LEBRON 13 features a grey-green upper — reminiscent of the neutral tones of Toronto’s winter — with graphic blocking similar to the KD8. An icy, marbled effect covers the outsole heels of James’s game shoe while pins honor the player’s on-court triumphs.
The Nike Basketball Royalty Collection is available February 11 at nike.com and select retail stores. In addition to the five shoes featured above, the collection also includes a backpack, hat, t-shirt, Hyperelite Crew sock and Hypermesh jacket. NIKEiD options, inspired by celebratory basketball moments of February pasts, will also be available.
Audacity and Hyperlive are the best looking shoes from this group.
Anyone know what the cushion setup is in the forefoot for the Audacity
It’s just phylon.
Kyrie 2 all stars not releasing?
He’s no All-Star..
Nothing looks interesting. Weartesters saved me some money in February.
Thanks Nightwing2303!
Spent a few years in Toronto and the winters there were never any shade of olive green like the Lebron “story” suggest lol
I hope the hyperlives release in that cw. Best looking one imo
I have my eyes on that Paul George joint
PE = Player Edition?
shouldn’t it be player-exclusive?
Player-Exclusive would mean they’re only for the player, in the player’s size, these will see a release.
These will drop in the outlet stores for sure! lol
I appreciate Nike trying to have a cool back story to the sneakers based on Toronto and I think they did a pretty good job incorporating the Toronto theme, but All Star weekend is the only time where players really have the opportunity to wear outrageous color ways. And none of these are crazy or outrageous. The WoW 4s really went all out with the silver iridescent look and looks amazing, but also incorporate that snowy Toronto theme. Nike has to step up its game. These color ways are worse than last year
