The ‘Hoop Pack’ that was once an Asia exclusive is returning as a general release. Some select Foot Locker House of Hoops accounts already have it on shelves.
When these originally released in ’05 people in the States went crazy. No matter how many begged and pleaded, Nike wasn’t bringing the ‘Hoop Pack’ edition to the U.S. for release. Now, things have changed and the Nike Air More Uptempo that honors the 1996 Chicago Bulls season is releasing Stateside.
These had a very obscure release date that was rumored to be March 7. Some Foot Locker locations have them available on shelves as of that date, but Foot Locker’s online release calendar has them scheduled to release on April 1. It’s possible that there is another Air More Uptempo releasing on April Fool’s Day featuring the Varsity Red/White/Black color scheme, but it’s unlikely.
If you’re into hunting down these kicks then we recommend heading out to your local Foot Locker House of Hoops locations to see if they were one of the lucky locations to receive their shipment for the March 7 release. We believe the April 1 release is going to be for the online drop.
