Weight: 17.3 oz ( in a sz 11)
Inner Comfort: A
The Hyperballer is a shoe that is designed for the bigger player. It takes the upper of the Hyperfuse 2011 with some slight modifications ( not for the better) and beefier cushioning.
Pros: Comfort at the inner, overall stability
Cons: a bit heavy; lack of responsive cushioning; at times, lackluster traction, laces can form pressure point near the top of the tougue; fit at the heel lockdown is not quite optimal.
Overall, this is definitely not a shoe for guards and I would not recommend it for them. Bigger players may want to give it a try, as it is more geared toward them, but there are better offerings available.
