Retros on retros. Nike basketball is throwing us another colorway of the recently release Nike Air Penny 2. This time with the black/white-red colorway, or what the general public tends to label as ‘Miami Heat’ colorway.
Originally retro’ed in 2008, this colorway definitely feeds off with the Miami Heat uniform in unison, so we understand why the label was attached. In terms of material, if you’ve seen the last review, then you’ll pretty much get the same info. What is different from the original retro model in ’08 is instead of the translucent colored outsole, it seems to utilize a more sold color-blocking. I generally liked the translucent outsole, but at the end of the day, as long as the shoe is comfortable, plays well, and looks pretty good, it’s good in my book. Tentative release day is mid-March, and priced at $150. Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.
