New Colorways of the Jordan Jumpman Swift Pay Homage to Eddie Jones’ Career

Brand new upcoming colorways of the Jordan Jumpman Swift pay homage to the teams Eddie Jones played with throughout his career.

While Jordan Brand can’t officially link the Jumpman Swift to Eddie Jones due to the fact that they’d have to pay him and he owns the rights to the “EJ” logo they once used, they’re still able to tell stories through colorways.

Lakers fans should remember rooting for Jones prior to Kobe Bryant’s arrival. They might also remember Bryant growing his hair out so the two wouldn’t look so alike out there on the court. While Jones didn’t play many games as a Laker in the Jumpman Swift, Jordan Brand still paying tribute to the team he once ran with.

The pair sports a black build with Lakers Purple and Gold accents. Honestly, these look better than the OG Black/Purple colorway that released back in 1990-2000.

In addition to the Lakers-themed colorway, we’ll see a Miami Heat inspired look sporting colors that are most known for being on the flagship Air Jordan — Black/Red. Casual fans of Jordan shoes won’t even bat an eye at this colorway as it blends in with the Chicago Bulls, but longtime fans will know exactly what these are all about.

Will we see the Charlotte Hornets colorway we previewed months ago? I sure hope so. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed.

No official release date has been set for these, and there won’t be one either, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled and let you know once they’re available.

Share your thoughts on these two brand new looks for the Jordan Jumpman Swift and stay tuned for more information as it arrives.

  1. Heel and forefoot air cushioning along with the traditional leather build sounds amazing. I wonder how these would perform on court.

  2. I need that Charlotte CW like yesterday. I’m glad they are bringing these back out I wonder how they are on court?

  3. I seem to recall wanting to get these back in the day but chose to get the team bizness instead.

  4. These are both dope! Love the tribute colorway and execution of both. I wonder if they’ll do a Lakers or Hornets home, white based theme?
I’d love to see a Midnight Navy colorway at some point.

  5. Now if they gave that Lakers color way to the Jumpman Pro Quick or whatever they call them nowadays that would unbelievable. Those are the one I remember from SLAM magazines
