Fans of gum-bottoms, this Kobe A.D. Mid is for you.
Featuring a white speckled midsole, this build flaunts a what appears to be a black suede/nubuck upper and a black plastic heel cup with new unique logos.
To complete the ensemble the Kobe logo and signature, as well as the Nike Swoosh and eyelets, are done in a magenta/salmon color to add some pop to the otherwise plain upper.
In case you missed it, AnotherPair, Jarron and Nightwing2303 have done performance reviews on the Nike Kobe A.D. Mid. Although they all have varying opinions on certain performance aspects of the sneaker, there was one constant: the traction is “Starting Five” material. Expect traction to be even better with the gum bottom outsole.
According to US11, this particular color way of the Nike Kobe A.D. Mid is set to release on October 28. However, Eastbay has the sneaker set for November 1 so be sure to check your local stores for an exact release date. Retail is the usual $150.
