Using Futurecraft 4D printed midsoles, the sneaker takes a super minimalist approach to a basketball sneaker. The shoe dons an entirely knit upper, without laces, and is uses 4D printed lateral support pieces at the lateral midfoot to provide containment and support.
We’ve seen Carbon’s Futurecraft 4D technology implemented on adidas Originals classics recently. The implementation of the lattice-structure cushioning on basketball sneakers could push adidas ahead in a 3D-printed space no brand has succeeded in yet.
No official release information has been announced yet, but expect the sneaker to be pricy once it hits retail.
