MJO23DAN is a very worthwhile feature. I do gravitate to his videos whenever I consider Retro AJs’. I do wonder if the nubuck on the Retro possibly changed shade with age. Seems like the outsole was deliberate , though, with different color codes assigned.
I think the changes in dimension could’ve been an attempt at improved fit, since a lot of people complain about narrow fits. That was supposedly part of the idea of the remaster, to try to be true to OG and improve a bit in some ways. Maybe the only thing I don’t like are the slimmer overlays.
The original is only original once. Close is about as good as it gets with retros.
It would be cool if they retroed them with the tow rand put back on
