  1. Very informative Nightwing and I really appreciate it. I recently got back into basketball and I have been looking for a new pair of shoes since I’m using my LeBron 7’s and they are starting to hurt my feet. Or maybe it’s just me playing 4 hours M-F :P. Anyways, looking forward to your review of the Lunar Hyperdunks. Do the Hyperdunks run narrow since my feet are kind of wide, that’s why I like the LeBron’s. Please get back to me when you have time.

      1. I was talking about Hyperdunks in general not the Lunar Hyperdunks. I was wondering, if the Lebron ps elite is as comfortable as lunarlon shoes like the wade 2s

        1. The PS has cushlon foam along with zoom and 180 air so they are VERY comfortable. The level of comfort isnt really comparable. Best thing to do is try them on in-store, they are still widely available.

  2. Hey nightwing, do you personally think that this lunar foam cushion technology absorbs more force better than the 180/360 air max units for basketball purposes? why or why not.

    1. No it doesnt. From a literal standpoint and scientific standpoint its already been proven however, lunarlon does distribute the impact better which is why I personally like the cushion since there is more consistency within this type of setup vs a more targeted setup like air or zoom.

  3. Thanks for the insight. Not all zoom shoes feel the same based on placement of the zoom, thickness/size of the bags, and thickness/material of the midsole. I’m curious how Nike is going to tune/apply Lunarlon differently to various shoes. I really liked Lunarlon in the Fly Wade 2 and am excited to see how it stacks up to the Hyperdunk 2012s. Can’t wait to see your review on the HD2012s.

Also, thanks for running this sight. You provide a valuable service and do a great job review all kinds of shoes for playing ball. Keep up the great work.

  4. Hey nightwing,
I know this is an old post but i was wondering with the Lebron 10’s being full length zoom air/max, would full length lunarlon still be better for the knees etc?
