This Air VaporMax Plus is perfect for those that love going on the Rainbow Road in Mario Kart.
The Nike Air VaporMax Plus hasn’t been getting the same amount of publicity as the Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit, but it is going strong in the streets — especially in New York. This latest colorway may make people take notice.
While the Air VaporMax Flyknit uses the VaporMax Air unit as both its midsole and outsole, the Air VaporMax Plus uses both the Air unit and a midsole. Thus, you can expect above average cushioning while walking and for any exercise activity. While the midsole and outsole comes in the standard white and transparent rubber, the upper is where this sneaker really shines.
The upper pictured here is comprised of a myriad of colors with orange, yellow, and green being the most prominent as they are featured in the forefoot, midfoot, and collar area of the sneaker, respectively. The rainbow upper is toned down with a grey heel counter and white laces for a nice combination of clean and outlandish on one sneaker.
This particular Nike Air VaporMax Plus in a rainbow-themed colorway is set to drop on April 26 for $190. You can grab a pair on release day over at Eastbay.com.
